Epoxy Paint Systems

1K Epoxy Primer/Topcoat
Properties: fast drying, moderate corrosion protection C2 (96–120 hours SST)
Applications: compressors, temporary to moderate corrosion protection

2K Epoxy Primer/Topcoat
Properties: fast drying, high solids content >70%, can be applied wet-on-wet with PU systems, high corrosion protection C4-M

Chemical Basis: Reaction of Epoxy Resin + Hardener
Chemical composition: polyol + isocyanate
Very high adhesion to metal, concrete, and wood
Excellent elasticity → flexible, impact-resistant
Exceptionally good corrosion resistance
High chemical resistance (oils, solvents, acids)
Hard and mechanically strong, but rather brittle
UV-sensitive → chalky / yellows when used outdoors
👉 Typical applications: primers, tanks, corrosion protection
Excellent UV and weather resistance
Excellent appearance (gloss, color stability)
Good chemical resistance (though generally inferior to epoxy)
Slightly lower adhesion on difficult surfaces

Study & further DEVELOPMENT

At PETER/LACKE, we promote and encourage training and study courses. We currently support a large number of employees who are studying alongside their workin the interests of the company. INDUSTRIAL CLERK

As you work your way through all the departments in the administration department, you will learn about the company's commercial relationships and processes.

PAINT LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

You will develop new coating designs according to customer requirements and should have an interest in scientific contexts.

CHEMICAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

You will learn how to operate coating production machines and produce coatings according to recipes. You should be responsible and physically fit. 

PART-TIME STUDY PROGRAM (M/F/D)

In cooperation with the FHDW on the Bielefeld campus, we offer a dual course of study in the Bachelor's degree program in Business Informatics with specializations in Business Process Management, IT Consulting and Software Engineering.

IT SPECIALIST IN SYSTEM INTEGRATION (M/F/D)

You will gain comprehensive insights into our IT landscape and support our team in the planning, configuration and maintenance of IT infrastructures - Training period: 3 years
