The world can exist without us, but we cannot exist without the world. The sensible use of natural resources for the benefit of future generations ensures our corporate success in the long term. Through ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, we work in accordance with quality and environmental standards. But our sustainable actions go beyond compliance with legal requirements:

As a member of the German Chemical Industry Association, we follow the Sustainability Guidelines of the Chemical Industry in Germany as well as the Guidelines for Responsible Care. To this end, we have signed the Responsible Care Global Charter. Through the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, we live the triad of ecology, economy and social issues.

SCOPE 1
DIRECT EMISSIONS

emissions that the company is directly responsible for and can control.

For example, emissions resulting from the combustion of energy sources or from the use of our own vehicle fleet.

SCOPE 2
INDIRECT EMISSIONS

Indirect emissions from purchased energy.

E.g. emissions caused by the purchase of electricity, heat and/or steam. 

SCOPE 3
INDIRECT EMISSIONS WITHIN THE VALUE CHAIN

emissions that are generated upstream and downstream in the company's value chain. In other words, that cannot be controlled by the company.

E.g. emissions caused by air or rail travel, emissions from outsourced activities or purchased materials.

CORPORATE CARBON FOOTPRINT

emissions that the company
has generated directly and indirectly. The CCF is the sum of all scopes excluding raw materials.

Renewable raw materials

Renewable raw materials

Our sustainability successes become standards for our customers.

  • Developments show that an improvement in the CO2 footprint can be achieved through the use of renewable raw materials
  • Liquid Chrome is our high runner at product level (double-digit percentage of renewable raw materials)
  • For some products, we already achieve >30% renewable raw materials
  • Products are partially recycled and recycled again

2030: Our goal is to replace 30% of fossil resources
with bio-based or renewable resources.

2035: Offset twice as much CO₂ as is emitted
(E.g. 5,000t CCO₂ - 10,000t CO2e by 2 wind turbines).

At PETER/LACKE, we promote and encourage training and study courses .We currently support a large number of employees who arestudying alongside their workin the interests of the company .We also offer an extensive range of further training courses and seminars.

Through the so-called "career ticket", we award projects at a global level and at various locations and offer our employees the opportunity to apply.
